Heavily embossed brass box with ornate scrollwork throughout, with hinged lid and red velvet inlay.  Marked 'Made in Portugal' to the base, it measures 4.5" by 3" by 2" high.  There is obvious wear to the metal, as can be seen from the photos, but is in overall good solid condition, and ready to use.
