This wonderful old brass vesta box has ornate decoration all over the lid and sides. It stands on four small feet. The lid is hinged, and has a striker plate on it, for lighting the matches.  The interior is curved and the inner lid has the letter 'W' beneath what looks like a lit candle.  It measures 8.5cm by 6.5cm by 3.75cm.
