Sterling silver medal from The Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (SM & E.E).
Hallmark is Birmingham in 1933 with the makers mark being that of Vaughton & Sons.
Engraved to reverse.  It was presented to J Wood Mason in 1933
High quality detailing to this rare medal.  Sold in very good solid condition, with light age related wear, and it would benefit from a silver clean.
It weighs roughly 40.1 grams and measures 44mm in diameter.
Sold in its original medal case with velvet and silk interior.  The case opens and closes nicely, but has age related wear
